Magic Mirror

This project features a smart mirror that serves up useful data for users. The mirror provides the current time, current weather for my home location, 5-day forecast for my current location, syncs with my Google Calendar to provide upcoming events, has a New York Times RSS feed that pulls the most recent news headlines, and provides encouraging messages that are catered to various times of day (Morning, Afternoon, Evening, or Anytime). The hardware consists of a shadow box which contains a two-way mirror in front of a computer monitor with a Raspberry Pi mounted to the back. The monitor then serves up info through the mirror screen.
